We are looking for a proactive PR & Marketing Manager to support the delivery of our marketing, communications & business development strategy.

Reporting to the Commercial Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for producing and managing a broad range of content, including PR materials, blogs, website content, awards and legal directory submissions.

 

Overview

The role will also support all marketing content including digital and social campaigns, video content and website updates, helping to ensure all communications are professional, engaging and aligned with the firm’s brand and strategic objectives.

Working closely with stakeholders across the business, the PR & Marketing Manager will help strengthen the firm’s visibility across key digital, PR and professional services platforms while supporting wider marketing and business development initiatives.

Responsibilities

PR & Copywriting

  • Produce high-quality written content for the website, press releases, articles, blogs, newsletters, social media and marketing collateral.
  • Draft, edit and proofread content to ensure consistency of tone, style, branding and professionalism across all communications.
  • Assist in content uploads across digital channels, including image sourcing and formatting.
  • Liaise with external PR agencies, publishers and media contacts where required.
  • Support internal communications and thought leadership initiatives across the firm.

Awards & Tenders

  • Manage awards and legal directory submissions, including maintaining submission calendars and coordinating deadlines.
  • Draft and edit compelling content for Legal 500, Chambers and other industry award submissions.
  • Collect and coordinate information, case studies and supporting content from stakeholders across the business.
  • Assist with tender and proposal submissions where required.

SEO & Digital Marketing

  • Support SEO strategy and content optimisation to improve website performance and online visibility
  • Conduct keyword research and implement SEO/GEO best practice across website and digital content
  • Monitor website analytics and campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations
  • Assist with digital campaigns, social media scheduling and email marketing activity

Website & CMS Management

  • Update and maintain website content using WordPress
  • Ensure practice area pages, employee bios and news content remain accurate and up to date
  • Assist in website development projects and user experience improvements

 

General Marketing Support

  • Assist with the planning and delivery of events, seminars and networking initiatives
  • Support wider business development and marketing projects across the firm
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support strategic marketing initiatives.

Team management

  • Lead, coach and develop a team of two marketing professionals
  • Set clear objectives, manage priorities and support the team to deliver high quality marketing, communications and business development activity
  • Provide regular feedback, performance management and development support to help team members achieve their full potential

What we are looking for

Essential

  • Previous experience within a marketing, communications or PR role
  • Experience drafting press releases and professional communications
  • Excellent copywriting, proofreading and editing skills with strong attention to detail
  • Strong understanding of GEO/SEO and digital content optimisation
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Confident written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience leading, coaching and developing team members

 

Desirable

  • Experience within a B2B or professional services environment
  • Familiarity with legal directories and awards submissions
  • Understanding of email marketing platforms and analytics tools
  • Experience supporting events and business development activity
  • Experience using WordPress CMS
  • Experience using design tools such Adobe Creative Suite or Canva
