We are recruiting a senior solicitor to join our leading real estate team.

Overview

This is a senior role and would be ideal for a professional with a proven track record in winning work and demonstrating expertise in commercial property law. The successful applicant will already be a commercial property partner or property solicitor looking for a partner role. The applicant should enjoy business development and ideally, you will have your own network of clients, intermediaries, and other contacts in the property sector.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a diverse caseload of commercial real estate matters, including acquisitions, disposals, leasing, and development projects.
  • Landlord & tenant.
  • Property finance.
  • Manage a diverse caseload with a focus on delivering exceptional client service.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve departmental goals.
  • Lead on and participate in business development activities to enhance the firm’s market presence.
  • Networking within the business community and to key referral sources in order to develop a high profile for commercial property work.
  • Contributing ideas to the firm’s marketing strategy for winning new work and implementing agreed initiatives.
  • To identify and initiate cross-selling opportunities.

The ideal candidate

  • Proven track record of handling complex real estate transactions independently.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Strong technical knowledge of property law and regulations.
  • Ideally PQE 8+ years.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • self starter who enjoys business development and has a track record of winning work and contributing to the growth of the firm.
  • A commitment to providing high quality legal services.
